Miss Israel is set to grace the Miss World stage in a gown that shows off her national pride.
Mor Maman has revealed a photo of one of her gowns for the upcoming beauty pageant–a deep blue ensemble that includes a Star of David over the chest.
The dress was created by famed Israeli haute couture designer Efrat Kalig.
Maman has been in Britain for the past few weeks preparing for the Miss World competition, at which she will compete against 100 other beauties from around the globe.
The event takes place December 14 in London. For the first time, viewers can download an app to vote for their favorites and help contestants move forward.
Maman was born in Beersheba and was crowned Miss Israel in March. She is 19 years old.
Maman is the daughter of a former beauty queen, and intends to enlist in the Israeli Air Force in the near future. She is currently studying graphic design.
She also helms a weight loss group on Facebook that has more than 44,000 likes. On the page, she encourages a healthy lifestyle, following her own 65-pound weight loss.
Maman is succeeding Yityish “Titi” Aynaw, 22, who became the first Ethiopian-born Miss Israel last year.
